This report presents the results of the study "Access of the Poor to Clean Household Fuels in India." The objective of the report is to assess the possibility of substituting two commonly used commercial fuels in India—kerosene and liquified petroleum gas—for the more traditionally used biomass fuels—wood and dung—for household use.
