Organized by the Information for Development Program (infoDev) and Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, the Global Forum on Business Incubation will bring together innovators and entrepreneurs from 43 developing countries, spanning the globe from Armenia to Paraguay to Vietnam. It’s objective is to share lessons and build relationships that will help these entrepreneurs deal with the complex challenges of growing new businesses and promoting innovation in their countries. The entrepreneurs represent 43 developing-country business incubation centers that are recipients of financial and technical support from the Incubator Initiative of InfoDev.
InfoDev is a nine year-old partnership of more than a dozen major public international development agencies. It was founded by and is housed at the World Bank, which is a major donor to and partner in its infoDev’s programs.
