India: Fourth Power System Development Project Additional Financing (PSDP IV)

WASHINGTON, October 21, 2008- The following project was approved today by the World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors:

 

IBRD Loan: US$400 million

TERMS: Maturity= 30 years; Grace = 4 years

Project Description: The additional financing will help finance the completion of selected transmission schemes intended to expand transmission system and capacity.  The project is designed to increase reliable power exchange between regions and states.
